Veteran Football Teams See Action In Malaysia

Bandar Seri Begawan - Two veteran football teams from the Brunei Darussalam Veteran Football Association whom are heading to Malaysia for the 11" PSC International Soccer 7's 2010.
They received a sponsorship from Aewon Garment & Embroidery, one of the leading local garment manufacturers in Brunei Darussalam yesterday.
The presentation of polo shirts with the logo of the Brunei Veteran Association was received yesterday by Mr Liew Chuan Fue, one of the Master team players, from Miss. Sheila Koh of Aewon.
Mr Pea Chong Koon, equipment officer of the Brunei's veteran team, " we are very grateful to have receives support from Aewon.
"We just started as an association (Veteran Football Association) and we need support. The polo t-shirt can help us to promote the association and Aewon," he said. On the team's preparation, he said "we are ready, the teams have been training for more than a year and we are aiming for the spot in the final and the championship." --The Brunei's veteran tems will b competing in two categories of Masters (45 and above) and Veteran (35-40 years old).
Led by coach Nordin Tujoh, the team for the Master Category comprised of Liew Chuan Fue, Hj Md Sallehin Kee Abdullah (goalkeeper), Puncha Gunong, Ukoi Anam, Lim Sun Hui, Sheikh Nordin Sheikh Mohamad, Pa Chong Koon, Suhaili Hj Bakar, Hj Shaari Hj Tahir and Kula Mohamad.
While the Veteran Team led by Ishak Hj Kabon the coach consist of Azamanuddin Hj Gillen, Sharbini Mohidin, Suni Mat Jerah, Ishak Hj Ibrahim, Tajul Ariffin Sumpong, Alijanda Sitom, Imran Bin Hj Ahmad Ali Hj Momin and Abdullah Hj Raini.-- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
