Rapper and his wife were booked for felony alleged possession of a controlled substance Wednesday night.

Rapper T.I. and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were arrested in Los Angeles on Wednesday night for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

According to an arrest report on the incident from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, during the course of a traffic stop involving Tip (born Clifford Harris Jr.), 29, and Cottle, 36, on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood at 10:30 p.m., "deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle."

A narcotics investigation followed and both Tiny and T.I. were "found to be in possession of a controlled substance." At press time, there was no information on which drug the possession charge covered.

Weezer frontman and B.o.B entertain a house party in clip, premiering Thursday at midnight on MTV.com.

Rather famously, despite having one of the biggest songs of the summer,B.o.B and Paramore's Hayley Williams have never actually met. They've never even been in the same room, for that matter, even though they both appear in the video for their massive hit, "Airplanes."

So, when it came time for B.o.B to shoot the video for his next single, "Magic," he decided to pull a complete 180. This time he actually had the song's co-star, Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, present when he filmed the clip.

"Rivers will be there. Rivers, you better be there, man," B.o.B told MTV News last month at Lollapalooza. "We're going to be there at the same time, so it'll be different for me"

Catherine Zeta Jones has revealed she is "furious" that doctors failed to detect husband Michael Douglas' throat cancer earlier.

In an interview with People magazine, she said: "He sought every option and nothing was found. I knew something was up. He knew something was up."

Douglas, who was diagnosed three weeks ago, has completed his first week of two months' radiation and chemotherapy.

The star said he remains hopeful and has an 80% chance of recovery.

Natalie Portman graced the red carpet for the premiere of her latest film Black Swan, which had the honour of opening the Venice Film Festival.

The US actress was joined by the film's director Darren Aronofsky, who won the Italian film festival's top prize in 2008 for The Wrestler.

This year's jury, which awards the Golden Lion trophy, is headed by Quentin Tarantino.

Some 79 movies are expected to premiere over the festival's 11-day run.

The Golden Lion will be fought over by 22 films from directors around the world, although no British films will be vying for the prize.
