It’s one Del of a tough match
RAFA NADAL fears losing his Wimbledon crown to Juan Martin Del Potro today.
The Argy is the only man outside of Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic to win a Major in the last six years.
Del Potro, who beat the Spaniard on his way to the 2009 US Open title, missed most of last year with a wrist problem but is back - with a bang.
Nadal expects his first proper test in this year's tournament today in what promises to be an explosive last-16 showdown on Centre Court.
Del Potro, 22, is world No 21 - but the man from Mallorca reckons he should be much higher.
Champ Nadal, 25, said: "Playing against him is always a big challenge. He's a very tough opponent and without doubt one of the world's best.
"His ranking's much better than what it says right now - in my opinion he's in the top five.
"I know it will be a tough match. You can't say I have had any luck by being drawn against him.
"I will have to be playing my top tennis to win because he is the complete player."
The pair last met in a Grand Slam at Flushing Meadow two years ago with the Argy thrashing the world No 1 in straight sets in their semi-final, although Nadal was carrying an abdominal problem.
But the Spaniard returned the favour earlier this year in Indian Wells.
Del Potro said: "I don't know what the difference was when we played at the US Open but we have played this year and he won easily.
"Rafa is No 1 and the big favourite - but I am ready."
