RBPF Details Road Closures For Brunei's 28th N-Day Celebration
Bandar Seri Begawan - To ensure the safety of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and members of the royal family and to make sure that the grand assembly of the 28th National Day celebration of Brunei Darussalam is conducted smoothly without a glitch on February 23, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF)will temporarily close off several roads leading to the heart of capital from 6.30am until the conclusion of the ceremony.
This was highlighted by Supt Hj Mohd Hassan bin Pehin Penyurat Hj Ahmad, the Acting Director of the Traffic Control and Investigation Department, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) during a press conference yesterday on the Brunei Darussalam National Day celebration.
Supt Hj Mohd Hassan said, "The roads that will be affected are the traffic light junction of Jln Tutong Simpang 4 leading towards the Hassanal Bolkiah Highway that is facing Bangunan Ba'adiah, the traffic light area ofJalan RIPAS Simpang 4 nearby the Court Building, the traffic lightarea ofJln Haji Basir Simpang 3 Jalan Tutong near to BSB Fire Station, the traffic light area of Jln Kianggeh, Jln Residency junction with Jalan Subok and Jln Stoney junction with Jln Sumbiling."
Roads in the capital that will be closed for the celebration are Jalan McArthur, Jalan Sultan, traffic lights at Jalan Roberts, Jalan Elizabeth 2, Jalan Stoney,' Jalan Investigation Department, Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) during a press conference yesterday on the Brunei Darussalam National Day celebration.
