BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN - AFTER one and a half years of being in business, the Old Time Kopitiam has finally opened up another branch to serve patrons in the Delima, Berakas area.
The Old Time Kopitiam has opened its second branch at the i-Centre building in Delima, Berakas. The first branch is located in Menglait, Gadong.
The Delima branch, which had its soft opening earlier on December 2, 2011 promises to attract customers old and new and invites the public to try some of the delicious dishes in its menu which has been carefully selected by co-owner Lee Chua Yee.
"The menu that we have at our main branch in Menglait is more less the same as here and we offer our best seller such as the Kolo Mee Special, the Prawn Mee Soup and our signature dish the Prawn Popia," said Chua.
He added, "But this is just the menu for the soft opening and we plan to include more dishes soon when we are officially opened."
Asked about the decision to set up the shop at the i-Centre, Chua indicated that his friend recommended him to open up a second branch at the i-Centre and believes the place was a suitable area for business as "the i-Centre building has several businesses with staff surely yearning for a delicious taste of Kopitiam food without having to go to places far away".
"Although it might be quiet, we don't expect a lot of crowd because of the school holidays. I'm sure when we start to advertise our shop people will start coming in especially starting January of next year" he said enthusiastically.
Chua also hopes to expand the business by setting up another Old Time Kopitiam branch within another two years.
The Old Time Kopitiam in the i-Centre is opened from 7am - 6pm everyday except Saturday and Sunday.
