Wedding, Health & Beauty Expo 2011 At The Airport Mall

Bandar Seri Begawan - For couples who plan to tie the knot anytime soon, the International Wedding, Health and Beauty Expo 2011 may be the showcase you would not want to miss.

Launched at The Airport Mall, Berakas yesterday, the exhibition revealed some of the best wedding attires and materials, as well as presentations on health and beauty products.

The guest of honour, Datin Hjh Asmah binti Hj Abd Rahman, spouse of the Minister of Development launched the event attended by invited guests and members of the public.

FmBrunei's Awg Farris bin Hj Abd Rahman in an opening speech said wedding has changed a lot throughout the ages, in terms of fashion, but traditions have largely stayed on the course.

Every couples want to look their best on their wedding day, with a multitude of preparations to organise beforehand and inevitably some have to endure debts.

The expo, he advised, will assist newlyweds-to-be in their organisation and preparation of their wedding, and that includes financial planning of the momentous event of their lives.

A hadrah band from Kampong Sungai Besar and performances by young soloists, as well as a fine musical show by students of PJC Virtuoso Music School also highlighted the opening of the expo.

Datin Hjh Asmah also toured the expo accompanied by Awg Farris.

The final day of the showcase will be on November 30.
